What is happening?
Through our survey and feedback, there was a strong desire for more competitive travel teams at a younger age. We decided to offer a 12U, 13U, and two 14U girls teams, as well as a 14U boys teams. This pivot took away from our coaching resources and gym availability. This also took away rom the numbers we would have had to run a strong development program.
While our vision is still to develop more athletes, we are still looking for more avenues to have this program still run in the new year.
What's the plan?
We want to ensure any program we offer is up to our standards, both in coaching and consistency. We are looking to secure a schedule that works for a full time certified coach and the gym time to match.
When/Will there be a program?
We are optimistic in running it, even if there is a delayed start and more sessions per week to optimize development.
What will it look like?
We are hoping to still secure the time to run 24 to 32 sessions. It will be capped at 18 athletes and there will be "tryouts" as this program will not be geared for beginners. We want the athletes involved to have a drive and desire to play and learn the game.
We apologize for the delay and unfortunate news about the program.

12U to 14U Athletes (Grades 5 to 8)
Born from September 1st 2011 to December 31st 2015
This year there will be a cap on athletes, 18 in total. Since there is a cap, we will be evaluating athletes to determine the 18 athletes. New/Beginner athletes should be participating in the Sparks Program.
Players will be evaluated in January. Eighteen athletes will be asked to continue with the program.
